Segedin Goulash

It is a rich dish, which is perfect for cold winter days. The gulsh gets better with after a day or two. The dish is actually Hungarian in origin,from a Hungarian town called Szeged,but it spread to Slovakia and other countries, nowdays it is one of the most popular dishes in Slovakia. Don´t hesitate to try it out!

Ingrdients:

2 chopped onions

400 g pork, cut into cubs

salt

red paprika

black pepper

400 g sauerkraut

flour

sour cream

steamed dumplings

2 table spoon of oil

 

How to make:

1. heat oil in a pot and fry onions

2. add chopper pork and cook for about 10 minutes

3. add salt ,pepper and paprika.Then add some water and cook it untill meat  is soft.

4. add sauerkraut, add enough water to cover sauerkraut and meat and cook for about 30 minutes.

5.mix sour cream with flour in a separate pot. then add to the meat

6.serve with bread or steamed dumplings
