Traditional Slovak cuisine contains a lotr of potatoes, wheat, cabbage ,onions and dairy products. Slovak cuisine recipes are easy to make, it is strongly influenced by Hungarian, Austrian and Czech cuisines. Slovak cuisine varies from region to region. For example in the mountains people love to eat bryndza and dairy products, in low lying areas people like eating goose, cabbage and spicy food. 

In Slovakia we have 3 main meals every day. For breakfast we usually eat bread with butter, ham, salami  or cheeese. Sometimes we have boiled eggs or scrambled eggs. The main meal is lunch. First we eat soup , it can be for example vegetable soups, kapustnica or goulash soup. A Sunday lunch classic is  chicken soup. then we eat meat with potatoes or rice. Main course could  also be halušky, pirohy or Segedin goulash. For dinner we have some sandwiches , potoes with meat , rice with meat or sweet dishes.
